Kampong Cham: H.E Mr. Te Navuth, Permanent Vice- Chairman of Cambodia National Mekong Committee (CNMC), chaired a National Consultation Meeting on the Draft Technical Report of the Joint Study on the Changing Pattern of Hydrological Conditions of the Lancang-Mekong River Basin and Adaption Strategies with participation of representatives of relevant ministries and agencies including MOWRAM, MAFF, MOE, MPWT, MME, TSA, and the CNMC General Secretariat. The Meeting’s objectives is to present, discuss and seek comments and suggestions for a common understanding of the Technical Report of the Joint Study from all relevant line agencies and the National Technical Working Group....

Kampong Cham: H.E Mr. So Sophort, ​Secretary ​General of ​Cambodia ​National Mekong Committee (CNMC), chaired the National Training on Basic Google Earth Engine and its application with participation of technical representatives of relevant ministries and institutions, including the MOWRAM, MAFF, MOE, MPWT, MME, and the CNMC General Secretariat. The Training’s objectives are (1) to introduce the Google Earth Engine platform to LAs’ technical staff/user who has basic understanding of the GIS and Remote Sensing; and (2) to become familiar with the platform and the associated basic functions of Image Collection, Filtering, and download the satellite product for future work....

Vang Vieng: HE Mr. Hak Socheat, Deputy Secretary General of the Cambodia National Mekong Committee (CNMC), led the Cambodian delegation includes Mrs. Dom Thach Deputy Director of Planning and International Cooperation Department of Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology, Mr. Ou Sophanna Director of Administration and Financial Department, Mr. Sin Samnang Director of Personnel and Human Resources Development Department and Mrs. Touch Vanlorklene Officer of Administration and Financial Department of the Cambodia National Mekong Committee to participate a regional meeting on the Gender Handbook and Gender Action Plan. This meeting organized by the MRC Secretariat with the participation of delegates from MRC member countries (Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Vietnam) and key officials of the MRC Secretariat. The purpose of the meeting was to review, discuss and provide additional input from the previous national meetings of member countries to finalize the draft Gender Handbook....

Vientiane: H.E So Sophort, Secretary General of Cambodia National Mekong Committee (CNMC), Member of the MRC Joint Committee (JC) for Cambodia and the Chairperson of the MRC JC  for 2022 , continued chairing the Forty-First Meeting of the MRC Joint Committee Task Force which was organized by the MRC Secretariat and the Meeting was attended by Delegates of the MRC Member Countries, and key staff of the MRC Secretariat. Cambodian Delegates who attended the said Meeting was led by H.E Hak Socheat, Deputy Secretary General of CNMC.
