Phnom Penh: H.E So Soport Secretary General of Cambodia National Mekong Committee chaired national waste management training and by requesting participation from key line agencies and other stakeholders  such as Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology, Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Public Work and Transport, Ministry of Mine and Energy, Tonle Sap authority, Fishery Administration, Phnom Penh municipality, Royal University of Phnom Penh, COMPED organization and Cambodia National Mekong Committee.

The Objective of the training:

-  To understand the solid waste management in general

-  To understand the plastic pollution and its mitigation measures and

-  To understand the solid waste management check‐list for future development of solid waste management at ports and piers.
