Regional Workshop on Joint Environment Monitoring’s Integrated Data Analysis, Reporting and Sharing (October 08, 2021)

Phnom Penh: H.E Long Saravuth, Deputy Secretary General of Cambodia National Mekong Committee lead Cambodia working group from Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology, Fishery Administration, Tonle Sap Authority and Cambodia National Mekong Committee participated the regional workshop on Joint Environment Monitoring’s Integrated Data Analysis, Reporting and Sharing and participated from Member Countries, MRCS, and expert from ICEM and GIZ.

The objectives of this regional workshop are:

• To share the interpretation and initial conclusions on the JEM data

• To correlate the JEM data with the routine MRC monitoring data and the environmental monitoring of the river carried out by the two hydropower operators of Don Sahong and Xayaburi; and

• To support the preparation of final JEM pilots report and recommendations for the finalization of the overall JEM Programme and integration of JEM results into review, assessment and re-design of cover river monitoring network.
