Phnom Penh: H.E. Mr. Pich Dun, Advisor to Cambodia National Mekong Committee chaired and lead the national consultation meeting on the first draft proposal on Socio-Economic Transmission and the second draft concept notes for development of detailed methodologies for three regional studies of Data Acquisition and Generation Action Plan (DAGAP) and with the participation from relevant line agencies such as Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology, Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Public Work and Transport, National Institute of Statistic, Fishery Administration, Tonle Sap Authority and Cambodia National Mekong Committee.

The objectives of meeting are:

1- Discuss on the draft Terms of Reference and requirements for Technical and Financial Proposals to inform the preparation of a Work Agreement for the assembly, processing, and transmission of socio-economic data to MRCS

2- Present and discuss on the second draft CNs for the development of detailed methodologies for three regional studies on

• Economic value of wetland ecosystem services (EVW)
• The extent of salinity intrusion in the Mekong Delta (SIM), and
• Condition of riverine, estuarine, and coastal habitats (RECH);

3- Discuss, and obtain feedback on the proposed outlines of the detailed methodologies for EVW, SIM, and RECH.
