H.E Long Saravuth, Deputy Secretary General of Cambodia National Mekong Committee chaired and lead the national consultation meeting on the first draft inception report for the Core River Monitoring Network and with the participation from relevant line agencies such as Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology, Ministry of planning, Fishery Administration, Tonle Sap Authority Cambodia National Mekong Committee and national consultants.

The objectives of meeting are:

1- Discuss and reach agreement on the Core River Monitoring Network project: objective, methodology, workplan and team;

2- Review and discuss on the first draft Inception Report; and

3- Discuss on the preparation of the audit phase.
