Bangkok: Mr. Chheang Hong, National Coordinator and Mr. Meak Chhavannary, Deputy Director of Information and Knowledge Management Department of Cambodia National Mekong Committee (CNMC) prepared in the Regional Training Workshop on GIS and Remote Sensing Technique. The Workshop was organized and facilitated by the MRC Secretariat with participation of technical representatives of the MRC member countries and the MRC Secretariat team.

The Workshop’s objectives are for GIS and Remote Sensing Officers to get familiar with the Google Earth Engine (GEE) platform, to practice working in the Earth Engine Code Editor platform, explore some basic programming concepts, and learn about Earth Engine data structures and methods, functions, algorithms, and develop their own mapping products in order to support projects formulation in the Mekong River Basin.
