Phnom Penh: The ​National ​Council for ​Sustainable ​Development of Cambodia had organized the Inter-ministerial Meeting to review and discuss the draft Cambodia Position for the 27th Session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nation Framework Convention on Climate Change (CoP-27), the Cambodia Intervention for the 15th Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity, and progress on Access and Benefit Sharing (ABS), presided over and leading the discussion by His Excellency Mr. Say Sam Al, the Minister of Environment and Chairman of the National Council for Sustainable Development for Cambodia and participated by the Representative of the Ministerial/Institutional Members and relevant Official of the Council General Secretariat. His Excellency Mr. Kol Vathana, Deputy Director of Cambodia National Mekong Committee (CNMC) has been nominated to take part in the Meeting.

The Objective of the Meeting is to review, discuss, and provide inputs into the draft Cambodia Position for the 27th Session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nation Framework Convention on Climate Change (CoP-27), the Cambodia Intervention for the 15th Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity, and progress on Access and Benefit Sharing (ABS) and the inputs received from the Meeting will be considered and used by the General Secretariat of the National Council for Sustainable Development in order to develop official Position and Intervention of Cambodia into the aforesaid Meetings.
