Workshop on the Monitoring the Achievement of the GDSP and Plan for 2023 (October 24, 2022)

Phnom Penh: The General Directorate of Policy and Strategy (GDSP) of Ministry of Environment (MoE) has organized Workshop on the Monitoring the Achievement of the GDSP and plan for 2023, presided over and leading the discussion by His Excellency Dr. Tim Ponlork, Secretary of State of MoE, and Vice-chairman of the National Council for Sustainable Development for Cambodia on behalf of His Excellency Mr. Say sam Al, Minister of Environment and Chairman of the National Council for Sustainable Development for Cambodia and participated by the Managements and staff of GDSP, relevant Managements and staff of MoE, and representative of relevant ministries and institutions of 11 ministries/institutions, namely MEF, Ministry of Civil Services, MND, Ministry of Justice, MAFF, MLMUPC, Ministry of Cultures and Fine Arts, MEY&S, MF&IC, Ministry of Cult and Religion and CNMC, and representative of 5 NGOs, namely WB, WCS, CI, UNIDO, and FFI. His Excellency Mr. Kol Vathana, Deputy Director of Cambodia National Mekong Committee (CNMC) has been nominated to take part in the Workshop.

The Objective of the Workshop is to review and consolidate the 2022 Achievements, exchange the experiences and lesson-learned, and planning for 2023 of GDSP.

The Workshop has listened, reviewed, discussed, and commented on reports on the 2022 achievements by sectors, namely Biodiversity Conservation and Biosafety, Climate Change Responses, and Green Economy Development, Science and Technology.
