Siem Reap: H.E Mr Te Navuth, Permanent Vice chairman of CNMC and H.E Mr Mak Sideth, Director General of the General Department of Inland Waterway Transport and Ports of MPWT co-chaired a national consultation meeting on the bilateral agreement between Cambodia and Vietnam on waterborne transportation for Cambodia with officials from the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, Programme Officer from the Mekong River Commission (MRC) and officials from CNMC.

The objectives of the meeting are to: (1) review the implementation of the Bilateral Agreement on navigation between Cambodia and Vietnam, as well as identify current issues and challenges on the implementation of this Agreement for Cambodia; and (2) update the project at the national level on water transport in Cambodia and discuss priority activities for the implementation of the bilateral  agreement on navigation between Cambodia and Vietnam.
