Kampong Cham: H.E Mr. So Sophort, ​Secretary ​General of ​Cambodia ​National Mekong Committee (CNMC), chaired the National Training on Basic Google Earth Engine and its application with participation of technical representatives of relevant ministries and institutions, including the MOWRAM, MAFF, MOE, MPWT, MME, and the CNMC General Secretariat.

The Training’s objectives are (1) to introduce the Google Earth Engine platform to LAs’ technical staff/user who has basic understanding of the GIS and Remote Sensing; and (2) to become familiar with the platform and the associated basic functions of Image Collection, Filtering, and download the satellite product for future work.
