National Consultation Workshop on Policy Paper options for investments and associated measures to optimize fisheries production under changed river conditions

September 08, 2023, His Excellency So Sophort, Secretary General of National Mekong Committee chaired National Consultation Workshop on Policy Paper options for investments and associated measures to optimize fisheries production under changed river conditions  and with the participation from relevant line agencies such as Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology, Fisheries Administration, Tonle Sap Authorities, Cambodia National Mekong Committee, and MRCS. 
The objectives of the workshop are:
1.  Present the status, trends and challenges for sustainable fisheries management in the Lower Mekong Basin;
2.  Review and discuss on policy paper options for investments and associated measures to optimize fisheries production under changed river conditions; and
3.  Discuss and collect inputs on implementation strategies from stakeholders for the next step.
