Workshop on The Announcement of The Three-Year Project (June 17, 2021)

Phnom Penh: HE Vath Bot Kosal, Deputy Secretary General of CNMC, Mr. Kim Seiha, Deputy Director of the Department of Planning and International Cooperation and 7 officials of the Department of Planning and International Cooperation participated in the workshop through VDO system with ASEMWater of the People's Republic of China on the announcement of the three-year project on “The Technical Demonstration and Promotion of the Capacity Improvement of Urban Domestic Sewage Treatment and the Scientific Popularization of Environmental Protection under the Background of Low-impact Development” was successfully won the bid for the “Proposal on Lancang-Mekong Cooperation(LMC) Special Fund Program” by the Chinese Institute of Science and Technology in 2019. In this workshop also participated in from Laos and Thailand.

Results of the Workshop:

- The workshop heard a presentation on the concept of the project to participate in the

  implementation.

- Through presentations, the participating countries shared their views on project issues and agreed that each country should identify its own issues to send to the Chinese side to study and understand and work out solutions.

- Review, study, design, create training programs and kick you in the country.

- Review studies, such as developing training programs and reviewing participants in different countries.

- The request of the Chinese side for us to identify as many participants as possible, especially those in urban planning, sewerage, sewerage, environmental education institutes, NGOs, urban planning institutes and other relevant experts, City Planner Drainage System, Sewage system Sewage treatment and online participation is available as a group at any time arranged by the Chinese side.
