National Consultation Meeting on Joint Environment Monitoring (November 22, 2021)

H.E Te Navuth, Permanent Vice-chairman of Cambodia National Mekong Committee chaired and lead the national consultation meeting on Joint Environment Monitoring (JEM) Pilots’ Final Report and with the participation from relevant line agencies such as Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology, Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Public Work and Transport, Fishery Administration, Tonle Sap Authority, Royal University of Phnom Penh, NGO Forum, Cambodia National Mekong Committee and MRCS.

The objectives of meeting are:

1. Discuss and feedback on the final draft of JEM pilot’s report

2. Disseminate the result of JEM pilot with relevant stakeholders and

3. Review and discuss on the recommendations of JEM pilot (Xayaburi and Don Sahong hydropower) in the context of transboundary impact assessment.
