National Consultation Meeting on Mainstreaming into the Selected Flood Management Activity and Transboundary Adaptation Project (December 22, 2021)

Kampong Thom: ​Cambodia ​National ​Mekong ​Committee ​(CNMC) had ​conducted a ​National Consultation Meeting on “MASAP mainstreaming into the selected flood management activity and transboundary adaptation project on the flood and drought management in the LMB” under the Chairmanship and leading the discussion by H. E. Mr. So Sophort, Secretary General of CNMC, which participated by CNMCS relevant officers; relevant line agencies officers, including MOWRAM, MAFF, MoE, TSA and NCDM; and National Consultant.

The Objectives of the Meeting are as follow:

- For the MASAP mainstreaming into selected national flood management activity:

1. Discuss and seek comment on the selection of the flood management activity;

2. Discuss and seek comment on the result of the MASAP mainstreaming into the flood management activity.

- For the transboundary adaptation project on the flood and drought management in the LMB, discuss and seek comment on the project proposal on the transboundary adaptation project on the flood and drought management in the LMB.

The Expected Outputs of the Meeting are:

- Inputs and comments on the MASAP mainstreaming into the selected flood management activity for Cambodia;

- Inputs and comments on the transboundary adaptation project on the flood and drought management in the LMB.
