H.E Mr. So Sophort, Secretary General Allowed to have another Meeting with Dr. Anoulak Kittikhoun, CEO of the MRC (March 02, 2022)

Phnom Penh: Following  his courtesy call paid to H.E Mr. Lim Kean Hor, Minister of Water Resources and Meteorology, Chairman of Cambodia National Mekong Committee (CNMC)  and Member of the Mekong River Commission (MRC) Council for Cambodia, Dr. Anoulak Kittikhoun, Chief Executive Officer of the MRC Secretariat and his colleagues were allowed to have another Meeting with H.E Mr. So Sophort, Secretary General of CNMC, Member of the MRC Joint Committee and Chairman of the MRC Joint Committee for 2022 that were accompanied by Excellency Deputy Secretary General, Excellency Advisor and Directors of Departments under CNMC General Secretariat.

The Meeting exchanged views and discussed with a main focus on the MRC’s priority work and activities, especially in 2022 and enhancing effectiveness in the work implementation. The discussion was also focused on the MRC’s support to the country‘s needs in contributing to the implementation of the Basin Development Strategy, 2021-2030.
