Dissemination Workshop on Methodology for Monitoring of Riverine Plastic Pollution in LMB (March 10, 2022)

His Excellency So Sophort, Secretary General of Cambodia National Mekong Committee chaired the dissemination workshop on methodology for monitoring of riverine plastic pollution in LMB of MRC and the result of the dry season piloting and with the participation from relevant line agencies such as Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology, Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Public Works and Transport, Fisheries Administration, Tonle Sap Authority, Royal University of Phnom Penh, and Cambodia National Mekong Committee.

The objectives of the workshop are:

1. To raise awareness on the MRC RPM protocols for the long-term and cost-effective monitoring of riverine plastic monitoring protocols in the LMB; and

2. To disseminate the results of the dry season pilots of the RPM within relevant stakeholder.
