2nd National Working Group Meeting on Transboundary Cooperation for Flood and Drought Management (July 01, 2022)

Phnom Penh: H.E Mr. Long Saravuth, Deputy Secretary General of CNMC, chaired the 2nd National Working Group Meeting on Transboundary Cooperation for Flood and Drought Management in the Cambodia-Thailand border area through VDO conference with the participation of officials from relevant Ministries and institutions, MOWRAM, MAFF, MOP, MME, MRD, TSA, MPWT, NCDM, TSA, PDOWRAM(Banteay Meanchey, Battambang and Pailin), Officials from ICEM, GIZ, MRCS, national experts, international experts and Officials from CNMC.

The objective of the meeting is to (1) present the results of the past implementation in phase III, (2) discuss on action plan for the implementation of the master plan of the project, (3) review the strategic documents for the Global Environmental Fund (4) present on the results of the mission in June to study the Natural base Solution (NbS) and project plans and (5) discuss the next steps for 2022.
