National Training Workshop on the Riverine Plastic Monitoring Protocols (July 04-08, 2022)

His Excellency So Sophort, Secretary General of Cambodia National Mekong Committee chaired the national training workshop on the Riverine Plastic Monitoring Protocols and with the participation from relevant line agencies such as Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology, Ministry of Environment, Fisheries Administration, Royal University of Phnom Penh, GIZ, Cambodia National Mekong Committee, International Expert and MRCS.

The objectives of the workshop are:

1. Strengthen the common understanding of the relevant national line agencies on the implementation of the MRC RPM Protocols; and

2. Strengthen capacity of implementation agencies and relevant national line agencies to ensure that the planned wet season pilots of the MRC RPM Protocols are implemented in a systematic manner.
