2nd Regional Coordination Meeting on Technical Support Division (July 18, 2022)

Hanoi: The Cambodia’s Working Group from Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology, Ministry of Public Works and Transport and the CNMC General Secretariat, led by Mr. Chheang Hong, Director of the Information and Knowledge Management Dept. of CNMC, to attend the 2nd Regional Coordination Meeting on Technical Support Division of the Mekong River Commission. The Meeting was facilitated by the MRC Secretariat, with participation of representatives of the MRC Member Countries.

The Meeting were 1. to present works progress having performed during the first semester of 2022, problems/difficulties, challenges, requirement and recommendations for the work in the second semester of 2022; and 2. to strengthen the works effectiveness and productivity on implementation of PDIES, PWUM, PMFM in general and on data management, river monitoring network, information system/sharing, modeling, flood and drought forecasting, use of technical tools and products, Initial Studies(Cambodia &Viet Nam) and Joint Study between MRC and China, in particular.
