40th Meeting of the MRC Joint Committee (JC) Task force (August 18, 2022)

Phnom Penh: Excellence Hak Socheat, Deputy Secretary General of CNMC together with Excellency Pich Dun, Advisor to CNMC and the Director of the relevant departments of the CNMC General Secretariat, attended the 40th Meeting of the MRC Joint Committee(JC) Task force , which organized by MRC Secretariat through online meeting in Vientiane , Lao PDR. This meeting was chaired by Excellency So Sopheat, Secretary General of the CNMC, MRC JC members for Cambodia and chairperson of the MRC JC for 2022, and was attended by MRC JC working group officials from Member countries, Dr. Anoulak Kittikhoun, CEO of MRC Secretariat and key staff relevant of MRCS.

The meeting were reviewed and provided guidance on two main issues of the adopted agenda , to prepare for the upcoming 54th MRC JC Joint Committee meeting as follows:

(1) Proposal HR policy amendments parts of the updated MRC Human Resources Management Manual; and

(2) Progress of the preparation of the Mekong River Commission Organization Development Plan.
