Study Tour on Transboundary Water Governance and Cooperation (September 06-09, 2022)

Switzerland: Delegates of Mekong River Commission and ASEAN joined the Study Tour on Transboundary water governance and cooperation in Switzerland which was organized on by Swiss Agency for Cooperation and Development (SDC) and Excellency So Sophort, Secretary General of Cambodia National Mekong Committee joined the said event.

During the above-mentioned Study Tour, Delegates met with relevant Swiss Agencies to understand the Swiss water resources management and their transboundary water cooperation with its neighboring countries.

The Delegates also met with United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) to understand UN work on global water agenda.

In addition, the Delegates also visited the water resources management projects/plans at community and basin levels.
