National Consultation Meeting on Flood and Drought Management Project Between Cambodia and Thailand (October 07, 2022)

Kampong Cham: H.E Mr. Te Navuth, Permanent Vice-Chairman of Cambodia National Mekong Committee, chaired a national consultation meeting on flood and drought management Project between Cambodia and Thailand (9C-9T). The participants in this meeting from Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Land Management Urban and Consultation, Ministry of Planning, Provincial Departments of Water Resources and Meteorology of Battambang, Banteay Meanchey and Pailin and some officials from the CNMCS.

The Objective of the meeting is to (1) Discuss and review the master plan and action plan of the Flood and Drought Management Project in the Cambodia-Thailand border area (9C-9T) Phase 3; (2) Discuss which institutions to lead and which institutions to support for each activity; (3) Discuss on the proposed national budget contribution and the schedule for each activity; and (4) Discuss on budget contributions for the implementation of the action plan.
