Regional meeting on the Feasibility Study of the Wetland/Watershed Biodiversity and Livelihood Fund

Ho Chi Minh: September 17, 2023, H.E Mr. So Sophort, Secretary General of Cambodia National Mekong Committee (CNMC) Co-chair the regional meeting on the Feasibility Study of the Wetland/Watershed Biodiversity and Livelihood Fund (WWBL) and was attended by Member Countries, GIZ, Regional Consultant and MRCS. However, Cambodia working group come from Ministry of Environment, Fisheries Administration and CNMC.
The objectives of the meeting are:
1.  To discuss and obtain strategic comments from the Member Countries on the preliminary results of the Feasibility Study for the WWBL Fund aiming at reaching consensus on the fund outline for an onward endorsement by Joint Committee; and
2.  To discuss and obtain feedback on the updated work plan and corresponding timeline for the implementation of the WWBL.
