Phnom Penh: HE  Watt  Botkosal, Deputy Secretary General, CNMC, led the National Planning Working Group, which was composed of: HE Pech Dun, CNMC Advisor, HE Long Saravuth, Deputy Secretary General and Six Directors and Deputy Director of Departments from CNMC, Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology, officials from the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, the Ministry of Environment, the Ministry of Mines and Energy, the Ministry of Planning and the National Planning Adviser for   NIP attended the 6th Regional Expert Group Meeting  by Video Conference. The Meeting was chaired by the MRC Secretariat, which was attended by the Planning Working Group of the Member Countries and was composed of representatives from China and Myanmar, as well as international Consultants and MRC Secretariat officials totaled of 52 (8 females). The purpose of the Meeting was to (1) review, comment and recommend the draft of the Concept Note for Proactive Regional Plan for the promotion of sustainable water resources development and related sectors, and (2) obtain opinions. Recommendations from countries and provide guidance for the next steps for development of the Adaptive River Basin Plan process.
