Phnom Penh: Mekong River Commission Secretariat prepared 1st Regional Training on the Introduction of Potential Tools to Support the MRC DSF via Video conference. This training attended deputy director and technical officers 5 person from CNMC, Official Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology, officials from Ministry of Mines and Energy. The Meeting was chaired by the MRC Secretariat, which was attended by the Member Countries and was composed of representatives from Korea and international Consultants and MRC Secretariat officials. The purpose of the Meeting was to transfer knowledge of hydrologic and hydraulic decision support to MRC DSF.  

Result of The Training (1) The trainee really understood generally information in order to decision support to MRC DSF included from USACE, HEC-Products; K-water, K-drum, K-flood and K-river NASA program and SWAT-online and NASA access as well as. (2) The trainee discussed to choose some programs for further to next training, which is benefit to organizations and NMCs in the Mekong Region. (3) Afterthe1stRegional training MRC will discuss to select the program, which is benefit to Mekong Region for next training, that will be on October.
