Training Workshop DSS Usage Training and IMS & Planning App (June 22, 2021)

Phnom Penh: with the high permission of H.E Lim Kean Hor, Minister of Water Resources and Meteorology (MOWRAM) and Chairman of the Cambodia National Mekong Committee (CNMC), H.E Watt Botkosal, Deputy Secretary General of the CNMC and Manager of MIWRMP3 C2, led the Training Workshop “DSS usage training and IMS & Planning App” Course No. 4. The course is mainly by a DHI consultant firm from Denmark, for 3 days from 22 to 24 June 2021. There were 20 participants, including project officials from the Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology, consultants from DHI and World Bank experts.

The expected results of the training workshop will provide participants with opportunities for the use and maintenance of decision-making support systems through river basin planning and water resource development, and to learn how to compare and analyze data types obtained from various sources include satellite rainfall data which are available in IMS, including development scenarios and sectoral investments for river basin management projects.
