Regional Workshop on the Japanese Irrigation Technique/Technology (July 04, 2022)

Thailand: H.E Mr. Long Saravuth, Deputy Secretary General of Cambodia National Mekong Committee, led a national working group from Cambodia (Mr. Taing Sophat, Deputy Director General of Technical Affairs of Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology and Mr. Suos Bunthan, Director of Planning and International Cooperation Department of the CNMC), attended the regional workshop on the Japanese Irrigation Technique/Technology. The workshop was organized by the Mekong River Commission Secretariat, with participants from member countries (Cambodia, Laos, Thailand and Vietnam), MRC staff and international experts from Japan and Myanmar.

The objective of the workshop was to (1) Make the understanding of the participants deeper for the asset management and mid-season drainage, and (2) share the information and action plans with member countries.
