Learning Workshop on Transboundary Water Resources Management and Implementation of Meteorological (December 21, 2022)

Stung Trneg: Representatives of ​Cambodia ​National Mekong Committee (CNMC) participated in a Learning Workshop on Transboundary Water Resources Management and Implementation of Meteorological and Hydrological Forecasts in the Lower Mekong Basin between the two countries, Cambodia and Lao PDR. The Workshop was chaired and coordinated by UNDP and PIN representatives with participation of representatives of Inter-Ministries and agencies from Cambodia and Lao PDR, including Provincial Disaster Management Committee in Kratie and Stung Treng, the MRC Secretariat and the Lao Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.

The Workshop’s objectives were to strengthen the capacity of the early warning System 1294 to understand and to share experiences on water resource management in the Lower Mekong Basin between Cambodia and Lao PDR.
