Phnom Penh: Ms. Seng Kola, Officer of Department of Administration and Finance of Cambodia National Mekong Committee and Mr. Lim Sreng, National Finance Specialist of MIWRM Phase III Project, Component 2, participated in a training workshop on the guidelines for the implementation of Cambodia’s public accounting standards and Cash Principle which are organized by the Ministry of Economy and Finance through VDO Conference with participation from relevant ministries and institutions.

Objectives of the workshop are: (1) Introduction on how to edit accounting records, standardized cash principle and record cash conditions into the system and to compare old and new year financial statements and to record Advance and Contract register; (2) present the initial approval of the cash principle and the impact on the audit and the differences between the old financial statements on basis of the old accounting and the new financial statements in accordance with the international standard accounting standards; and (3) Propose case studies for basic accounting Cash.
