Phnom Penh: The Mekong River ​​​​​​Commission ​Secretariat ​organized a regional meeting to review the results of a pilot study on sustainable agriculture groundwater use management. The participants from Cambodia are the Ministry of​ Water Resources​ and Meteorology, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Tonle Sap Authority, Ministry of Mines and Energy, Ministry of Rural Development, and officials from the CNMC (Director, Deputy Director, and Officials). The objectives of the meeting are to (1) discuss and finalize the draft regional report, roadmap, action plan, technical guidelines for sustainable groundwater modeling, and (2) review and discuss the initial draft of the concept note and ToRs for international and national consultant in the third phase.
