Phnom Penh: Mr. Cheng Dum, technical ​officer of the ​Cambodia ​National Mekong Committee, attended the 1^st Technical Working Group Meeting on the Tonle Sap Biosphere Reserve (TSBR) Coordination Platform, chaired by Lok Chumteav Mom Thany, Secretary of State, Ministry of Environment with the participation of relevant national and sub-national ministries, national project officers of UNESCO, UNESCO representative in Cambodia, Chairman, Co-Chair, Vice-Chair and Member of Decision No. 019 dated March 07, 2022 on the Establishment of the Tonle Sap Biosphere Reserve Management Coordinating Commission, Ministry of Environment.

The objective of this meeting are: 1. Introduce to know each other in the technical team; 2. To understand Roles and responsibilities of the technical team; 3. Brief presentation of the evaluation results of the zoning, management and socio-economic analysis of the Boeng Tonle Chhmar and Stung Sen core areas of the Tonle Sap Biosphere Reserve in Kampong Thom province; and 4. Presentation on Sustainable Management of the Tonle Sap Biosphere Reserve.
