Vientiane, Laos, September 19, 2023 The MRC Secretariat held the 42nd JC Task Forces Meeting of the Mekong River Commission (MRC) with the participation of JC Task Forces delegates from MRC member countries (Cambodia, Lao PDR, Thailand and Vietnam) a total of 25 participants, including 3 Cambodian delegates, as H.E Mr. Hak Socheat, Deputy Secretary General of the CNMC, H.E Mr.  Pich Dun, NCDD Advisor and Mr. Sin Samnang, Director of Personnel and Human Resource Development Department.  The purpose of this meeting is to discuss, provided comments and seek consensus on÷ (1) Proposal on the revision of Education Grant policy, (2) Proposal on the restructuring of CEO's remuneration, (3)The action plan to implement key priorities of the Vientiane Declaration, (4) Concept note on more regular MRC Summits.
