Discuss with the UNOSSC Working Group on the Pilot Study at the Northeast Areas of Cambodia (August 24, 2022)

Phnom Penh: Working ​Group of the ​Cambodia National Mekong Committee, composing of H.E Mr. Long Saravuth, Deputy Secretary General, Mr. Chheang Hong, Director and Mr. Meak Chhavannarey, Deputy Director of Information and Knowledge Management Department and discuss with the UNOSSC Working Group via Video Conference on the pilot study at the Northeast areas of Cambodia. The study is part of Triangular Cooperation Project under MRC-UNOSSC-PLINK on Sustainable Development in the Lower Mekong Basin based on Water-Energy-Food (WEF). The Meeting’s objectives was to discuss a plan for a National consultation to select a pilot areas for P-Link project, a follow-up of the First Regional Stakeholder Consultation Forum in late June 2022....

National Workshop on Enhanced MRC-IS Data Portal Refreshment (August 23, 2022)

Kampong Cham: H.E Mr. Long Saravuth, Deputy Secretary General of Cambodia National Mekong Committee (CNMC), chaired a National Workshop on enhanced MRC-IS Data Portal Refreshment with participation of technical staff  of LAs and provincial departments. The resource person in Vientiane, Lao PDR provided introduction and technical training on The MRC-IS Data Portal via Video Conference. The Workshop’s objectives ate (1) to present and refresh on the enhanced functionalities of the MRC-IS Data Portal services; (2) to introduce and review on some extended MRC-IS-API webservices for seamless data integrations under PDIES; (3) to further address and response to some comments / feedbacks from the regional workshop on the enhanced tools and services; and (4) to provide hands-on exercise on how to access and obtain the MRC-IS quality assured data and information through the effective mechanisms on exchange and sharing under reinvigorated IS concepts....
