Stung Trneg: Representatives of Cambodia National Mekong Committee (CNMC) participated in a Learning Workshop on Transboundary Water Resources Management and Implementation of Meteorological and Hydrological Forecasts in the Lower Mekong Basin between the two countries, Cambodia and Lao PDR. The Workshop was chaired and coordinated by UNDP and PIN representatives with participation of representatives of Inter-Ministries and agencies from Cambodia and Lao PDR, including Provincial Disaster Management Committee in Kratie and Stung Treng, the MRC Secretariat and the Lao Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment. Regional Workshop on Isotopic water sampling (December 19-21, 2022)
Cambodia working group comes from Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology and Cambodia National Mekong Committee participated in regional workshop on Isotopic water sampling, Storage, analysis and data interpretation and was attended by member countries, MRCS, FAO and IAEA. Launching Seminar of the 2022/23 MRC-KDI Knowledge Sharing Program (December 20, 2022)
Phnom Penh: Representatives of Cambodia National Mekong Committee, attended the Launching Seminar of the 2022/23 MRC-KDI Knowledge Sharing Program through VDO Conference. The Seminar was co-chaired by Chief Executive Officer of the MRC Secretariat and a senior adviser to KDI, with participation of representatives of the MRC member countries (Cambodia, Lao PDR, Thailand, Viet Nam), the MRC Secretariat and Korean Working Group. The Seminar’s objectives are 1. to officially launch the 2022/23 MRC KSP; 2. to discuss and finalize research direction in consultation with representatives of partner institutions and authorities; 3. to conduct in-depth research regarding the consultation topic by meeting with MRC officials and practitioners of each nation and discuss future direction of research; and 4. to discuss and confirm the schedule for future research....
