National Technical Consultation on Kick-start of Joint Study on the Changing Patterns of Hydrological Conditions (July 28, 2021)

Kampong Cham: H.E So Sophort, Secretary General of Cambodia National Mekong Committee (CNMC), chaired a National Technical Consultation on Kick-start of Joint Study on the Changing Patterns of Hydrological Conditions of the Lancang-Mekong River Basin and Adaptation Strategies, with the participation of representatives from line ministries and agencies concerned, the CNMC General Secretariat and the MRC Secretariat resource person. The Consultation’s objectives are: (1) to present to the line ministries and agencies concerned the launch of a joint study and processes designed by the Mekong River Commission and the LMC Water Center; (2) to mobilize comments and recommendations to improve a draft proposal for shaping the contents and design in line with technical and evidents-based justification so that the study’s result/outcome could be acceptable by all; and (3) to review the roadmap and implementation plan....
