12th MRC Budget Committee (June 25, 2021)

Phnom Penh: Excellency Watt Botkosal, Deputy Secretary General of Cambodia National Mekong Committee (CNMC) and Alternate Member of the MRC Joint Committee (MRC JC) for Cambodia led a Working Group consists of Deputy-Secretaries General, Advisor to CNMC and Directors of Departments under the CNMC General Secretariat attended the 12th MRC Budget Committee via Video Conference.

The Meeting was chaired by Lao PDR (host) as the Chairperson of the MRC JC for 2021 and was attended by Working Group members from Cambodia, Lao PDR, Thailand and Vietnam, Representatives of Development Partners - EU, Australia and Sweden and the Chief Executive Officer and other key staff of the MRC Secretariat.

The Meeting was reported and discussed by following agenda included (1) outcomes and financial reporting, analysis for Annual Report 2020 and Finance Report 2020 ,(2) the Mid-year progress reporting ( January - May 2021) by each Division under MRC Secretariat on overall progress of Multiyear Work Plan 2021-2022 activities and task reporting and financial reporting (3) proposed tasks and budget revision for next six months in 2021 of MWP 2021-2022; and (4) shared information on Internal Audit activities - issues and recommendations.
