Workshop on Environmental Management of the Tonle Sap Lake and Its Basin (August 06, 2021)

Phnom Penh: Mr. Sok Khom, Director of Department of projects and programme of Cambodia National Mekong Committee participated and presented about the current water challenges in Cambodia in the Workshop on environmental management of the Tonle Sap Lake and its Basin.

As a result, the Workshop recognized the importance of data sharing and collaboration of all institutions involved in the Tonle Sap, and an understanding of the state of the environment in the Tonle Sap lake by using the Remote Sensing tool of Project, the challenges of climate change, Hydrological, water quality in the Mekong Basin and in Cambodia and MRC data collection and management.
