National Meeting on the Establishment of a Data Center (August 20, 2021)

Phnom Penh: HE Watt Botkosal, Deputy Secretary-General of the Cambodia National Mekong Committee, attended the National Meeting on the Establishment of a Data Center as Part of the Irrigated Agriculture Improvement Project (IAIP) organized by the Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology (MOWRAM) which was presided over by HE Chann Sinath, Undersecretary of State of MOWRAM at the Ministry Meeting Room attended by MOWRAM Officials from various departments. There were attended by representatives of ministries and line agencies concerned, as well as representatives of development partners and the project's technical advisory team. The technical advisor's presentation on the update of the first phase planned for the Water Resources Information Center and the National Data Center establishment was discussed by the participants. As a result, the meeting aided the project's implementation by revising technical documentation based on feedback from the participants and the meeting's chairperson. A representative from the CNMC expressed interest in supporting and fully participating in the project implementation process regarding the provision of existing relevant data to the Center.
