38th Meeting of the JC Task Force (August 25, 2021)

Phnom Penh: H.E Watt Botkosal, Deputy Secretary-General of the Cambodia National Mekong Committee (CNMC) Alternate Member of the Joint Committee MRC JC for Cambodia led the JC TF for Cambodia composed of H.E Pich Dun, Advisor to the CNMC and Directors of Relevant Departments of CNMC Secretariat, participated in the 38th Meeting of the JC Task Force via Video conference from MRC Secretariat in Vientiane, Lao PDR. The meeting was attended from the MRC Joint Committee Task Force of member countries (Cambodia, Lao PDR, Thailand, and Vietnam), the MRCS CEO, and the MRC Secretariat staff.

The meeting proceeded and decided on the agenda, report and discussion on (1) Draft, final revision of MRC legal documents, including Rule of Procedures of the Council, Joint Committee, MRC Secretariat, and final draft the revision of the Code of Conduct and the Anti-Fraud and Anti-Corruption Procedures, (2) the Charter of the Audit Committee and the role of the MRC Internal Audit; The proposed minor adjustment and change of functions and tasks of the five divisions in the MRC Secretariat including Office of the CEO, Administration, Environment Management, Planning, and Technical Division affiliated with the Regional Flood and Drought Management Center in Phnom Penh.
