Technical Consultation Meeting on a Drought Pilot Project (August 26, 2021)

Kampong Cham: H.E Long Saravuth, Deputy Secretary General of Cambodia National Mekong Committee, chaired a Technical Consultation Meeting on a Drought pilot project to support the development of a guideline for adaptation to the Drought at the regional level, with the participation of inter-ministerial representatives, relevant institutions, expert from the MRC Secretariat and the CNMC General Secretariat.

The meeting’s objectives were: (1) to review the National study report on Drought condition and National adaptation options policy and mitigation measures; (2) to prioritize adaptation options and mechanisms for pilot studies; and (3) to discuss the roadmap and strategies for implementation.
