13th MRC Budget Committee (November 12, 2021)

Phnom Penh: Excellency Watt Botkosal, Deputy Secretary-General of the Cambodia ​National Mekong Committee (CNMC) Alternate Member of the Joint Committee MRC JC for Cambodia led the Budget Committee member for Cambodia include Excellency Pich Dun, Advisor to the CNMC and the Directors of Relevant Departments of CNMC Secretariat, participated in the 13th MRC Budget Committee via Video Conference from MRC Secretariat in Vientiane, Lao PDR. This meeting was attended by officials from the MRC Budget Committee member countries (Cambodia, Lao PDR, Thailand, and Vietnam), Representative Officers from Development Partners and the Key officers of MRC Secretariat.

The meeting proceeded with the review and discussion: (1) present on the overall financial situation both income and expenditures in 2021, Expected expenditures by 2021, 2022 fund availability, (2) updated on the matter of mutual concern, particularly the Multi-Year Work Plan 2021-2022, its activities and budget under each MRC Secretariat Division and Office, and (3) report on the progress and work plan for EU’s additional pillar assessment and report on the internal audit activities in 2021.
