National Workshop on the Updating Handbook on Gender Mainstreaming in the MRC Core Functions (May 18, 2022)

KEP: The ​Cambodia ​National ​Mekong ​Committee organized a National Workshop on the Updating Handbook on Gender Mainstreaming in the MRC Core Functions and Activities for 2021-2025. The Workshop was chaired by Excellency So Sophort, Secretary General of the CNMC, and attended by officials in charge of Gender Work from relevant Ministries and Institutions, including the Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, the Ministry of Environment, the Ministry of Women's Affairs and relevant official of CNMC General Secretariat.

The Workshop was facilitated by the MRC Secretariat and aims to (1) present the revised format of the Handbook and (2) reviewed and discussed for gathering feedback/comment as input from the participants of the Member Countries (Cambodia, Lao PDR, Thailand and Viet Name) for the MRCS to finalize this draft Handbook.
