Regional Consultation Meeting on Gender and Vulnerability Data Requirements (September 16, 2022)

Thailand: Mr. Sin Samnang Director of Personnel and Human Resource Development Department, Mr. Suos Bunthan Director of Planning and International Cooperation Department of Cambodia National Mekong Committee, Mr. They Kheam Director of Demographic Strategies Census and Survey Dept. and Ms. Dom Thach  Deputy Director of Planning and International Cooperation Department of MOWRAM attended regional consultation meeting on gender and vulnerability Data Requirements that organized by the MRC Secretariat, and attended by member countries (Cambodia, Laos, Thailand and Vietnam), MRC staff and International Experts.

The objective of the meeting are to (1) Review approach and methodology for identifying additional data on gender and vulnerabilities (2) discuss proposed indicators, their data sources, methodology and processes for data collection and (3) identify ways forward for the assignment and concrete steps for improving gender and vulnerability in the Mekong Basin.
