Kampong Cham: the Cambodia National Mekong Committee (CNMC) organized the 7th training workshop on capacity building for maintenance of the Decision Support System (DSS) for the Se kong, Se San, Srepok, and four Prek (4Ps) basins through the Mekong IWRM Project Phase3 (MIWRMP3) as one of the training activities previously organized by the Project.

This training workshop was chaired by HE Watt Botkosal, Deputy Secretary-General of CNMC Secretariat and Manager of MIWRMP3 Component 2, was attended by project implementation officers from the Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology and Provinces and Departments of Water Resources and Meteorology of Kratie, Stung Treng, Ratanak Kiri and Mondul Kiri provinces, and the CNMC, as well as the national expertise of DHI Technical Advisers.

The workshop was conducted by refreshing the Data Management System (IMS) and Decision Support Support (DSS) and a presentation on IMS and DSS maintenance, including check and update the IMS and Developing and updating development scenarios in eSource Model through the Mike WorkBench program. The participants practiced and gained their ability to understand and maintain DSS and IMS, as expected outcome of the two-day training workshop.
