Meeting To Discuss The Preparation Of The 2021 Work Plan To Implement The CNMC’s New Strategic Plan 2021-2025 (January 14, 2021)

Phnom Penh: H.E. Mr. So Sophort, Secretary General of Cambodia National Mekong Committee, chaired a meeting of the CNMC General Secretariat with participation of Deputy Secretaries General, Advisor to CNMC, Directors and Deputy Directors of Departments and Secretariat, to discuss the preparation of the 2021 Work Plan to implement the CNMC’s new Strategic Plan 2021-2025.

To start the Meeting, Excellency Secretary General informed that the document of the CNMC Strategic Plan 2021-2025 was approved by His Excellency Minister and Chairman of the Cambodia National Mekong Committee on January 12, 2021. This is another new achievement, setting out strategic directions and priority for the CNMC to be implemented for the next five year continuing from its Strategic Plan 2016-2020.

Excellency Chair of the Meeting added that in order to implement this new Strategic Plan, we need to prepare annual work plan, and this Meeting is to discuss and provide additional inputs for the draft of Work Plan 2021.

The Meeting discussed and provided inputs to the Draft Work Plan for 2021 and it will be finalized in the third week of January 2021.
