Dissemination Workshop on Plastic Monitoring in Freshwater Systems (March 02-03, 2022)

His Excellency Long Saravuth, Deputy Secretary General of Cambodia National Mekong Committee chaired the dissemination workshop on Plastic Monitoring in Freshwater Systems in Phnom Penh, Cambodia and with the participation from relevant line agencies such as Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology, Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Public Works and Transport, Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Mines and Energy, Ministry of Industry Science Technology, and Innovation, Fisheries Administration, Tonle Sap Authority, Royal University of Phnom Penh, Institute Technology of Cambodia, Cambodia Education and Waste Management Organization and Cambodia National Mekong Committee.

The objectives of the workshop are:

1. Discuss and exchange knowledge on various plastic monitoring techniques; and

2. Provide hands-on training on freshwater plastic monitoring and data analysis.
