Training for the Manual on Carriage, Handling and Storage of Dangerous Goods (September 23, 2022)

Vientiane: The ​Working ​group ​from Cambodia included Mr. Bong Vuthy, Deputy Director General of the General Department of Waterway Maritime Transport and Ports of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, Mr. Suos Bunthan, Director of the Department of Planning and International Cooperation, Thoun Sokchea, Deputy Director of the Department of Planning and International Cooperation, and Mr. Thor Mineaka, Deputy Director of the Department of Inland Waterway Transport of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, attended the training for the Manual on Carriage, handling and storage of Dangerous Goods in the Mekong River Basin.  The training was organized by the MRC Secretariat and was attended from Mekong Countries (Cambodia, Laos, Thailand and Vietnam), MRC staff and international experts.

The purpose of the training is to guide and discuss the manual with relevant officials of member countries to lead the training to other relevant national officials in the carriage, handing and storage of dangerous goods in their own country.
