1st National Working Session on Exploration of Possible Establishment of the Mekong Fund (August 09, 2022)  Phnom Penh: Cambodia National Mekong Committee had conducted a First National Working Session on Exploration of Possible Establishment of the Mekong Fund, presided over and leaded the discussion by H. E. Mr. Kol Vathana, Deputy Secretary General, CNMC, which participated by relevant officials of CNMC General Secretariat, relevant officials of TSA, CDC, MEF, MPWT, MoP, MoE, MME, MAFF, and MOWRAM, and MRC Secretariat related staff. The Objectives of the Meeting are (1) Understand the Concept Note on exploring options for a Mekong Fund through multiple partnerships and financing sources for the benefit of environmental assets, disaster response and vulnerable social groups (Mekong Fund), as well as the process of exploration of Mekong Fund and next step; and (2) Provide feedback to questions related to Mekong Fund’s to be used as inputs and views for the formulation of the 1st draft of the Financing Mechanism Case Study....
