Fifteenth MRC Budget Committee (November 10, 2022)

Vientiane: H.E So Sophort, Secretary General of Cambodia National Mekong Committee (CNMC), Member of the MRC Joint Committee (JC) for Cambodia and the Chairperson of the MRC JC  for 2022 , chaired the Fifteenth MRC Budget Committee which was organized by the MRC Secretariat and the Meeting was attended by Delegates of the MRC Member Countries, Representatives of Development Partners and key staff of the MRC Secretariat. Cambodian Delegates who attended the said Meeting was led by H.E Hak Socheat, Deputy Secretary General of CNMC. Regional Consultation Workshop on Maintaining and Enhancing the Existing DSF Modelling Data and Tools (November 10, 2022)

Luang Prabang: National Modelling Team for Cambodia, led by Mr. Chheang Hong, Director of IKMD Dept. of CNMC, attended the Regional Consultation Workshop on Maintaining and Enhancing the existing DSF Modelling data and Tool including the implementation of National pilot Project. The Workshop was chaired by the MRC Secretariat with participation of Modelling team of the MRC member countries. The Workshop’s objectives are 1- To review and discuss the overall status of the implementation of modelling activities in 2022 and the proposed key activities of the next year’s work plan; 2- To review and discuss the results of updating SWAT with updated KB 1985-2020, and on the preliminary results of updating IQQM/Source; 3- To present the lessons learnt of the implementation of Associate Modeler Program and JRP under modelling activities; and 4-  To present the final report on the implementation of national pilot projects by each MCs....

The Workshop was chaired by Mr. Tran Minh Khoi, Director of Technical Support Division(TD) of the MRC Secretariat and attended by Working Group from the MRC member countries (Cambodia, Lao PDR, Viet Nam, Thailand).
