Hanoi: Working Group for Cambodia, led by Mr. Chheang Hong, Director of Information and Knowledge Management Dept. of Cambodia National Mekong Committee (CNMC), attended the Regional Gathering Workshop on Flood and Drought Forecasters and Data Senders. The Workshop was facilitated by Mr. Tran Minh Khoi, Director of Technical Support Division of the MRC Secretariat. Phnom Penh:, HE Te Navuth, Permanent Vice Chairman and Mr. Kim Seiha, Deputy Director of Planning and International Cooperation of Cambodia National Mekong Committee participated in a workshop to disseminate the list of revised targets indicators of the Sustainable Development Goals of Cambodia (SDG) organized by the Ministry of Planning. EGEM Meeting on the Redesign of a Core River Monitoring Network (November 02, 2022)
His Excellency Hak Socheat, Deputy Secretary General of Cambodia National Mekong Committee led Cambodia working group comes from Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology, Fisheries Administration, Tonle Sap Authority and Cambodia National Mekong Committee participated in the EGEM meeting on the redesign of a Core River Monitoring Network and was attended by member countries, MRCS and international consultants. Infrastructure Project Planning and Prioritisation Workshop (October 31, 2022)
Phnom Penh: At the invitation of Australian Embassy in Phnom Penh, Mr. Hak Socheat, Deputy Secretary General of Cambodia National Mekong Committee, was assigned to participate in the Ayayawady-Chao Phraya-Mekong Economic Cooperation Strategy (ACMECS) Infrastructure Project Planning and Prioritisation Workshop. The aims of the workshop are to increase infrastructure project planning and prioritization knowledge of ACMECS member state officials by examining the principles and benefits of infrastructure pipeline development for possible future investment to close the investment gap in infrastructure in the region. The workshop also forwarded Australia’s commitment to work with ACMECS’ s member states as a development partner in support for the development of quality infrastructure in Southeast Asia and the recovery from the impact of COVID-19 pandemic.
